ELEGANT COUNTRYSIDE WEDDING AT BEACONSIDE HOUSE IN NORTH DEVON

Natasha and Josh enjoyed an unforgettable weekend celebrating their wedding in the North Devon countryside at Beaconside House. With an abundance of flowers, minimal luxe table styling, and lots of personal touches, this was a wedding to remember.

Beaconside House has everything you need for a relaxed countryside wedding, rolling hills, lush gardens, a Georgian House and heaps of rustic charm. The venue even has a swimming pool for a post wedding pool party! We worked with Natasha and Josh in the lead up to their wedding creating a design that reflected them as a couple. Styling the wedding on the day alongside an amazing team of suppliers was a dream!

OUTSIDE CEREMONY WITH SEASONAL WILD FLOWERS AND AISLE MEADOW

Natasha and Josh chose to embrace the natural beauty of the Devon countryside and exchange their vows outside. The aisle was paved with meadow boxes with a mix of seasonal and wild flowers in pastels and oranges. Two floral pillars were the focal point for the ceremony and were styled with cylinder vases and candles. Bethan from Moth Florist did a fantastic job with the delicate floral arrangements, seamlessly blending them into the surroundings and adding pops of colour.

ELEGANT MINIMAL TABLE STYLING

With wildflower urns taking centre stage, we decided to keep the rest of the table styling minimal and understated. The oak barn at Beaconside House feels super cozy and warm, and by using olive taper candles and clear tea lights, we added to the ambience some extra twinkle! Touches of gold from the charger plates and candle sticks gave a luxe feel.

We filled our glass and gold table number frames with orange and coral pressed flowers to tie in with the table flowers. The finished look was elegant whilst not being overdone.

The table stationery created by Laura Likes was printed on seeded paper a lovely detail and s sweet keepsake for guest to take home. After the ceremony, we repurposed the floral pillars and meadow aisle to frame the sweetheart table. This created a beautiful backdrop for the speeches and looked amazing in the photos.

THE DETAILS: CHAMPAGNE TOWER, BOHEMIAM LOUNGE AREA & PHOTO DISPLAY

A chill out lounge area in the Glass House was a perfect area for guest to connect and also broke up the space. A mix of vintage furniture, Persian rugs, peacock chairs, and neutral throws and cushions made the space feel cosy.

As an alternative to a wedding cake Natasha and Josh had a champagne tower. We are loving this trend as it looks chic and is also a great way to get the party started in the evening!

When working on a venue design we love to include personal touches that are unique to the couple. For Natasha and Josh, we put together a cute Polaroid photo display featuring some of their favourite pictures together, as well as some retro childhood photos of them.

Many Thanks to Max Burnett for the photos. From our first call Natasha and Josh said they wanted their wedding to feel more like a celebration and the photos capture that beautiful.
